Hi Guys! first post on here so go easy on me!

been flying a HoneyBee T fixed pitch trainer for a little while now ( well flying may be the wrong word heh ) and i've improved a lot now, can hover more or less stably and nose in without too many mistakes, tried a little FF with success and ive ordered a Dragonlyfly 36 ( from what i read not the best of em but will give me experience with collective , and being priced as they are if i wipe it out its not such a problem )

Ive bought a Hitec Optic 6 to control my helis so i have a decent radio to use with a few models. The reciever gear it has with it im going to install in the 36 but im wondering how i can make the optic control the HoneyBee as well as it has one of the 4in1 mixing boards with onboard gyro etc.

What equipment do i need for a micro heli?

thinking a micro reciever, gyro and some better servos.

also how do i power the reciever and the motor off one battery?

any advice given is VERY appreciated, thanks in advance!

Neil

micro reciever yes
if you have the cash get a 401 gyro on its own and some better servos like HS-55
a speed controller is needed so you can connect that to your batt and then that connects to the reciver
and just maybe if you can hover and do nose in then get your self a T-Rex-se that comes with a speed controller and a brushless moto
so all you would need is micro reciever
gyro and some better servos oh and lipo batt unless you have 1 allrdy

ooh my god ,, i spent all the shopping money on helis DOH!!
