Hi
Been looking at the hirobo metal heads for the sceadu, could someone please tell me what the difference is between the sz4 metal head and the sdg metal head, and also which would be the one to use?

If I've got it correct, the SZ-4 head was a metal version of the original Sceadu head design. This is an older design.

The SD-G is a metal version of the new Sceadu EVO head (or at least it's closer in design to the current Evo head design). I would not recommend investing in the SZ-4 parts, even if you can get them. Overall, most of the metal parts are not necessary. The plastic Evo head works fine.

I think a lot of people are using hard golf club cases

Donkey you have the right to remain silent what you lack is the capability

I have the SD-G on my Sceadu evo. It's very nice. It has to make the heli fly better because it looks so cool! You can see what it looks like in my gallery.

We don't need no stinking flybars!

I don't see much of a need for a metal head. I put the metal Yoke (or york if you are Hirobo) on mine, and it stiffened it up nicely, but beyond that and the radius block/washout, it seems it's just cost for no benefit beyond it looking cool.

i found that metal grips/yoke makes a big difference to keeping the tracking througout hard maneuvers. Ive picked up a 2nd hand sz4 head and ive got a quick uk head at the mo, will compare the two when i get time
