Sorry to hear of our disappointment dude. I'm flying mine now on a CCPM MX-400. The only way I will go away from my DX6 on my electrics is if there is an upgrade module for my 10X. I like it that much.

If there is any interaction I can't tell. I will get it up one bench and take a look when I get a chance. Or maybe I don't wanna know!

I am pretty much able to do the same routine on my MX-400 as I do on my Raptor 90. Even Piro Funnels.

I honestly think that error in my reflexes and dexterity are way more than 1.5mm. Yours may me much better than mine (quite likely if you are less than 46 ) but I can't draw two circles on a piece of paper without looking that are within 2mm of each other.

Did you fly it with the interaction? Or are you just concerned that it's there? Before you go spending money on a 6102 you should try to borrow someones modified 6102 and give it a run. If you have a trusting friend you could borrow a 6102 from you could simply tack the DX6 tX board onto the 6102 without modifying the case. Or maybe buddy box the 6102 through the DX6 - hell that may the best idea yet - drop into the LHS and "borrow" a 6102 right on the counter before you buy it.

Finless..

I'd love to come out and play at the "A" But my mommy won't let me fly my toys over asphalt
Same way I always bring a gun to a knife fight...
Seriously, though, I'm not the worlds greatest 3D pilot...But I'm hell on setup and radios...Yes, the DX 6 IS the greatest thing since sliced bread, and no, any perceived latency issues with this radio are the result of the encoder strings, not the RF side(remember, this thing is running on 2.4Ghz!)How many frames of the little digital stream can it transmit in a millisecond?
Trust me, if you fly 3d, this radio, even as rudimentary as it is, will not hinder you if the heli is set up correctly...
Put some grass in at the "A" and I'll show you...

Well I live in a very unpopulated area, therefore finding someone with a 6102 to borrow is not going to happen, I wish it was possible though. As far as flying it like that, no I didn't but I know what would happen. All my other models do not have that action on the swash ball and when it moves it a degree to two, that is huge so it is a big deal to me. Like I said if you are doing simple small movements and just some fig 8s or sum stuff I am sure it would be fine and you may not notice it really well. But if you are doing aileron tic tocs for example that is going to throw you off and kick to the side and it would be more difficult to keep it in the forward or reverse motion going into a hurricane for example then pirouetting out would pull it striaght out and you would be fighting the pull out with the interaction of the aileron input simulated by the ball movement, I hope that made sense as I see it, lol.

Anyhoooo as stated I am going to try to get some feedback before proceeding anymore financially and time wise on this project that is for sure. I have yet to see a nice 3D video of someone on a rex with the DX6 so it is hard to say ya or nay to what peoples claims are. Many of the raving posts on the DX6 are people very new to to the hobby or their first heli etc,, so of course they are excited and think it is the best thing in the world, their cherry was popped thats all they really know, lol.

Sorry dude my setup is rock solid, I can assure you 100% that it is, your statement does not hold water imho, and as Yoda would say... "hinder you it will young Jedi" no offense at all either

Maybe the tremors of my aging hands offset the latency!

Appreciate everyones feedback good and bad on the topic. Bottom line there is much room for improvement on the Spektrum system that si for certain and it will be neat to see this technology grow. When Hitec and Futaba get in on the bandwagon it should be cool to see.
