Hello all, I'm assembling my brand new SE. When I was installing the tail boom onto the main frame I discovered that the threads in the aluminum tubes in the tail boom stiffener were "pre-stripped" from over tightening when the main frame was factory assembled. Very disappointing to say the least. I finally got myself an SE and can't fly it due to these little tubes being carelessley stripped at the factory.
I'm curious if anyone else had this problem with their new kit? Who knows how long it will take me to find these?? I see I can purchase a whole new boom stiffener kit that includes these tubes, stiffener, screws, etc. Does anyone know where I can find just the tubes?? I don't want to pay $50 for the whole kit especially since I didn't cause this problem. Just my luck!

The same problem occured when I was putting my T-Rex together but I measured the length of the supplied screws and used slightly longer socket head screws (2.00mmx 10mm) This worked OK

Yes I had THOUGHT the tubes were spinning but NOOOO the threads were stripped for me.
Willy: Tried the CA thing already. They are stripped to well! The CA is not holding.
Little John: Thats a good idea!! This should at lease get me into the air! Thanks man I feel stupid for not thiking of that!

Same thing here~! Bummer, to say the least. I'm going to get some 10mm screws and see if that works, it seems to me the stock screws are just grabbing the first few threads and are just too short?
