Hey everyone,

So I'm expecting Carbons tomorrow but decided to try out the stock woodies tonight to see how they would perform. Up until now, I've been flying the plastic yellow blades. I didn't change ANYTHING on the helicopter except the blades and I was barely out of ground effect with a full charge on the battery and at full throttle. I've been doing mild 3D with the yellow blades no problem, but with the stock woodies, the thing barely flies, what's up?

Gen 2 2100 3s pack (even though they aren't the best, they can 3D ok with the yellow blades)

My 450x flies best with the 305 shrink wrapped woodies. The yellow plastic blades were relegated to stirring paint a couple months back.

Heck, I like the 305 woodies better than the 315 CF blades. I'm sure a lot of it is personal preference, but it just feels better with them.

I spent some time with the Like90 flat bottom blades experimenting with lower headspeeds, but ultimately gave up the 40 minute putter for balls to wall performance with the 305s.

old white heatshrink blades. I really don't know what's happening here. I'll charging the batteries. Maybe it was the tracking (was off a little bit, but not enough to prevent it from flying).
