have noticed the starter coupler begin spinning on and off while the motor is idling. Whats going on.
also rotor control, when i move the control to the right let the stick go centre the rotor goes to neutral. when i stick right and let go the rotor stays basically there does not centre. whats going on is it a servo adjustment or rod adjustment or just use more trim on the tx

The start shaft spinning is just bearing drag, you should be able to put your finger on it to stop it.

As for the controls not centering, disconnect the ball from the servo and see if the controls have drag on them, if they do find out whats causing the binding, you probably have to size your ball links.

spinner
cool, I have'nt noticed the spinning before until i had a slight misshap (heli on its side) not huge dump but since the starter is spinning on and off. Ill check the link to the rotor too it was the rotor side it fell on. Oh another thing I wanted to check the dampners for lubrication however the socket screws in between the rotor grips arn't comming loose. I think the guy who put my heli togeather tightend them too much. How do you fix this, wd40 spray on them? ive only got one hex driver to fit so ill get onother one for the other side to hold.

as barracudahockey says, it's just drag. Would also like to say that engine clutch alignment is important otherwise the clutch can fracture.
Use an allen key (+ glove) on the other side of the grip for good putchase. Perhaps the guy that assembled it used Red
