Hello !

I tested my new Graupner Augusta 109E 60 size for the second time today. New Graupner blades (1246b). Seem to be very good blades. It still needs some adjustments on the RPM and other.

I flew also my repainted Century Hughes 500 MD 60 size for the first time today.

Video of both here:

Awesome video! The 500 is a fine flyer. This will sound like a stupid question, but is crashing in snow any less damaging? Taking off from snow, do you have problems keeping the helo still until the tail rotor spools up? Snow is just a word where I live.

Hi Irogers !

If you do a crash in light powder snow the damage could be a minimum or none, but if you land on "frozen" snow then the damage is the same as no snow. Also the "approach" to the ground is also a main factor here.

Take off from snow is no problem.

We are waiting for spring here :-D

Thanks !
