I searched and didn't see a "how to" or anything. It doesn't look difficult to change, however I loosened up the inner "clamp" one side of the flybar and it does not slide out.

Is there something else I need to loosen up? What amI doing wrong? I'm actually trying to replace the Center Hub & spindle.

Teh paddles have to be threaded off of the fly bar too so loosen the mounting screws and nuts before doign that or it will take a lot more effort than it should

Good Luck

Thanks Russ. This is Addictive! Blade CP AEK 7CHP and a Shogun V2 now

Thanks (both of you). My flaw was not loosening the second mounting chuck on the flybar. I didn't realize the one I took off wasn't the one that was actually holding the flybar in place.

Once I went to the bcprepair site it showed my mistake :-) I wasn't able to finish doing what I wanted anyway because I forgot to bring a second allen :-/ Oh well, a learning experience at least.

After looking at some pictures of the top piece that the flybar slides through (paddle control EFLH1148). Mine is broken. I just thought it was like that. One of my extened nubs is broken off. Guess I'll be ordering one of those. Seems to fly ok though, but it's hard to lock the flybar in place (keep it from spinning)
