I can't access my paypal account and related email account.

I use paypal with yahoo email. When I got my office,I can't log in my paypal account and even yahoo email too.

Someone changed those site's passwords and my birthday information too.
I trying to get solve,but I haven't received any information from paypal and yahoo.

Is this call"Hacking"?

And I never rented blockbuster video. But they called me return a DVD until this Sat. Why this happened to me?

How should I protect my information? Can't trust nobody.

Please let me know...how to solve above incident.

I would call credit card company and/or bank immediately. Also PayPal.
Sounds like you are a victim of a PayPal "Phishing" email.

Wow, sorry to hear this man. I would call paypal and get the account closed or reasigned to you if possible. I would also call all your banks and Credit Cards you had hooked to that account and close the accounts. The credit cards you can report as lost/stolen easy enough. Changing the bank account is more work, but to be sure it is the best option.

Also, I dont know what you can do with the yahoo email account. I would probably just open a new one and send an email to everyone you know that your old email is now trash. Not sure what else you can do there.... sorry again, I have been through something similar and it was a pain to fix up.

I called paypal and yahoo. Guess what? They can't help this problem.

Paypal said that they need to access my email. If email doesn't work,can't access paypal. So they blocked my paypal account until yahoo email able to access.

So I called yahoo. They can't access my account because my birthday and address are not correct. I told them that someone already changed my information. But they just keep saying wait 48hours until security depart. contact me.

This is so stupid net system. They created those site. And they can't access and chage customer's password. Can't understand.

I asked paypal about report block my credit card and bank. They said I don't have to do that. No one can't find my full credit card number and bank if blocked.

Do you have any clever idea? RR members are better than paypal and yahoo guys.

I am getting piss off.

I'd call em back and ask to speak to a supervisor with all the identity theft going on these days 48 hours in UNACEPTABLE I'd be rollin heads...

Did you for any reason answer one of those emails saying that paypal needed all the information again?

If you did, man oh man, cancel your credit cards listed on that account and order an identity theft protection on your credit report. This will be very serious.

Hi,

Call you credit card company. Change all passwords right away.

Deal with your credit card agency. All the others are moot.

This is drive me crazy.

Now my ebay account has been attacked too.

I contacted paypal. They blocked my account. They told me that now my paypal account officially safe. When I cleared my yahoo account,then I can resolve my paypal account.

The problem is yahoo email. They are one big hell company. They just watching their customer having pain. I called them three time. The representative don't know what they have to do. They told me that I have to send email to their security department and wait until they give me some guide. That's all they can do. What a nice tip.!!!

And I suddenly want to check my all the favorite internet site that I am using. Ebay has been attacked. Now I can't using my ebay too.
I checked my bank and credit card. They are safe at this time.

This is one big hidden hole. Is there any federal depatment that they can help or anyother method?

Please RR member help me I mean help US and protect us.

I have severe headache due to hacking.

yes but they are so backlogged and the person doing the hacking is prob rerouting so many different times they'll tell ya to buzz off in a manner of speaking... like I said, I'd start speaking to supervisors, screw the phone reps, they cant do squat, you need someone with passwords to do what you want to do.

Ask your Doctor if getting off your ass is right for you.

send me your credit card number to see if I can help...

you were definitely a victim of phising...you most likely answered an email asking you to update something along with your card number to verify...sorry to hear about your dilemna.

next time...if so...TYPE in the address box in a NEW IE window should you receive anything asking you to verify something...in your case it would have been http://www.paypal.com

I should contact my credit card to stop paying on Paypal and ebay.

Yahoo Email is sucks. They just keep email back. My secret answers are different. Of course,someone already changed my information.
