I was flying relatively high....

For some reason I lost orientation of the heli. I couldn't tell which way was facing. It was black thing on the sky.

After a few secs, I see that the nose is pointing directly to the ground. I panic and use wrong elevator. That forced the heli into a flip which I was able to recover.

I was very lucky as I only started flying in Idle 1 last week and my pitch is +-10.

So, I don't need to mention that I immediately landed it and tried to realise what happened.

The question is what happened to me to black out like that. Its like when you look at the sun for a small period of time and then you try to look elsewhere. Everything is black arround you. Thats what happened to me but there was no sun.

What time of the day were you flying? I've lost orientation of my heli before during sun set. You are so focused on keeping your eye on the heli and when it drifts in the path of the sun you can loose your heli orientation, and experience some sun blindness. Realistically, the best time of the day to fly is late morning to early afternoon. Unfortunately, the winds are not always coorperative at that time.

It was arround 13:00. The sky is full of black clouds.

It was very scary and I felt my fingers shaking so much, I couldn't control the rudder anymore

The natural light can do strange things when it is sunny or overcast and at any time of the day. In some combination of light conditions it is so very easy to lose orientation of the machine, especially a smaller machine like the Trex.

He who dies with the most toys is the winner!
