They tried this one for way too long. Its always funny how the guy doesn't trust you, but he is the one scamming you.

Whenever I am selling it is, Send me payment, I cash it and then send the item.

Yeah..Its come up on here multiple times. In fact, it comes up multiple times with everything people are trying to sell. From electronics to Cars....

They ONLY reason they are still working this scam is cause idiot people are falling for it.

That is what you get when you sell. I have had stupids offers, and funny trades.
You just say, Thanks but No thanks.

I saw an interesting post where someone did a terific job of wasting the scammers time, was hilarious. It involved inventing a weird religion, sending photoshopped pictures... and even scamming the scammer out of a small sum of $.. most of that might not work here if the guy is going to pick up the heli (?), but you could give him the adress of local mental institution or police station as a pick up point?

Two options:

1. Find out where the prat lives (probably Nigeria), go there and kill him, or
2. If that's too much trouble, just delete the email and forget about it. Life's too short to worry about all the scammers, thieves and chancers in the world.

You could be flying instead.

I had one exactly the same around 12 months ago for a motocross bike I was selling , I new it was a scam but he insisted on sending me a cheque for a huge amount , so I thought whats to loose , so I gave him my address , with in a couple of days a cheque arrived from some one in the uk for £5000 , the bike was only worth £2000 the rest was for shipping abroad .
Any way my sister inlaw works at a local bank so I had her to take a look over the cheque , she thought it was real , so I paid it in and even told the girl at my bank the story and she said it looks ok .

after around 3 days he kept emailing me and asking if I could pay the shipping to a uk company for him , which I would have done if the cheque had cleared , well after five days I had phone call from my bank telling me that it was a fraud cheque , they were worried at the bank that I had lost out

Baiscally he never wanted my bike , he just wanted me to pay the shipping money before the cheque bounced.

I had no intentions luckly of paying any money for a good while and even talking to my bank first .

I gave all the emails and his bank details to my bank and the police and never heard from any of them , none were interested .

Geez so fraud is even accepted as long as no one can claim money...

Thats one advantage the Muslims have on us,
The way they deal with theives and crooks is great!
Cut their hands or heads off depending on the crime.
Great Idea!

Which is worse, ignorance or apathy? I don't know and I don't care!

I get scam e-mails on a daily basis, people wanting us to help in sharing the £600M fortune their great grandad syphoned away before he died, we even had one who wanted £100,000 pounds worth of spare parts, and wanted to pay by letter of credit (LC), so we cautiously played along, supprisingly the LC arrived, and the guy was then constantly contacting us for the goods, needless to say, the bank confirmed the LC was fraudulant and after stringing him along for a few weeks we stopped replying, but it does show that there are a load on con artists out there, who will try anything, it is useful to just occasionally let people know about these things, because you never know who, in an act of possible desperation might get taken in, and I for one would not want to see anyone loose anything to scum like that.

Hey,

Had exactly the same, i have been trying to sell my Millennium and i got a reply from this dipstick from somewhere. He wanted me to e-mail him my address and telephone number so that he could post me a cheque and then have his 'Personal Air Shipper' collect the heli.

He calls himself Mr Mike and Mike Richard on his profile.

It may be genuine (Yeah about 1 in 100,000,000,000 chance!!) but i'm not taking the risk!

I smell a Rat!!........

Cheers!

they have ways of dealing with people like this on 419 eater.com like conning the scammer into having a silly permanant tattoo done on their arm or similar.at their own expense.

all comments are my opinion only!
