Beautiful car, but honstly how many people car really afford such a thing? Even if I got one for free I wouldn't be able to pay for the up keep and insurance for the car.

Take Care,
Cheers, Patrick

Bruce Wayne, where are you????
This car looks like something Batman would drive!!! Now, don't take that the wrong way, I like Batman..
It's just that with such limited production numbers these cars look to be pure collectors items..
From a styling standpoint, I don't know.. They look like something out of a Japanamation movie, or maybe Speedracer..

Here he comes, here comes speed racer,
He's a demon on wheels.
He's a demon and he's gonna be chasin' after someone..
He's right behind you
So you better look alive.
He's busy revvin' up the powerful Mach 5!
When the odds are against him
And there's dangerous work,
You'll bet your life speedracer,is gonna see it through.
Go speed racer!
Go speed racer!
Go speed racer, go!

He's up and climbing as he guns the car around the track,
He's jammin' down the pedal,
Like he's never commin' back.
Adventures waitin' just ahead!
Go speed racer!
Go speed racer!
Go!!!!!!

Yeah, I have it memorized. Too much tv as a kid.. You have to sing it to the music..

Speedracer, Mach 5
that would make a great movie if it was done right,,, but they would probably screw it up by putting Tom Cruse in it

If any of you lot can find the various 'Top Gear' clips flating around the net (like the Ariel Atom one) they took a a Zonda, Madina, and Ford GT charging across the length of France. It was very good, and should give you a better idea of what the Zonda is about.

Top Gear is a great show, I wish we had that in the US, I have to search for clips, but they are all worth it.

Yea, it handles better than a lotus. Lift it does not have since it is capable of 200+mph.

Actually the majority of sports cars out there create lift, yes even at 200mph, popular science recently had an article about it. Most ferraris even do it as well as lambos. Thats one of the things that makes the Exige so rare is it has dynamics unlike many other sports cars. I used to be amazed by shiny cars with huge engines and low ride heights, then I started working in the auto industry and working on my engineering degrees. Now things like that just dont do it for me anymore.

Yes Topher, they do create lift, downforce lift which sticks them to the road. Low ride heights do help with high top speed and when you go over 200mph, the car isn't really driving muh anymore, its more like flying. Look at Indy cars, they aren't 4X4ing, they are actually more airplane than car. The downforce they create would enable them to run sustained inverted which is crazy.

I have heard that an F1 car creates enough down-force at 140 it could drive upside down,,, but that's just 1 of those things you hear, I don't know if it's true !!

Damn you know what those wrecked pictures tell me.. Dont run into a fire hydrant with it.. IT will hammer the car lol.. I would hate to see what happens to that car in a wreck if a fire hydrant can do that to it lol

in 1973 my 17 yo brother took my mom's car (Chevy stationwagon), he hit a tree, I miss him more and more every day..

and,,, here in my home town some 25 years ago we had a rich guy buy his son a Ferrari 308 GTO for his birthday, a week or so later the kid hit the corner of a bank head on, they say he was doing 140, the kid died, I believe he was 18..

in 1980 I was street dragging my 71 Nova SS, about 400 HP 327cid, it was about 12:00 midnight, I was in 3rd gear doing about 85 just about ready to hit 4th, and some lady pulled right out in front of me, thank god for the 4 lanes...

No Rappy Tappy, lift as in a upword force away from the ground. The majority of sports cars out there actually create lift as they go faster, NOT downforce. Even Indy cars do it to if not set up properly.

Topher, he hit a curb on the side of the track, that is why he is airborne, he did not just take off.

BTW, lift can be upward or downward.
