I am usually can just pull out the blades grip by hand without blades grip puller. I am try to put out from my Extreme today, but I could not put it out. Any easy way to pull it out without using the puller.

Thanks,

Assuming the blade axle tip is hung up on the smaller ID half of the thrust bearing...................

1. Insert the blade axle screw back in the hole. Threaded it in until it's within about 3/32" of being seated.

2. Grip the blade grip in one hand (the one that corresponds to the end of the blade axle you're messing with). Take a allen/ball driver of the same size as would be used to tighten that axle screw and insert it in the head of the axle bolt.

3. Tap the end of that driver with a small hammer. It'll pop the thrust race over the end of axle with no damage to any parts.

Sheesh....

Put the axle bolt back in half way. Put the blade bolt back in grip. Insert your ball link pliers in between the blade bolt and the head of the axle bolt. Force pliers open. Game over.

Takes two seconds, no special tools needed.
