I wrote this when answering another post in another forum. I thought I share this with the rest of the gang.

1. Look for good deals on RR. So far I only bought 1 bird from LHS. The super good deals I got from here are amazing.

2. Do help a lot of people here on RR. I have free stuff coming to me as thank you gift from RR members .

3. Sell your extra stuff by parting them out. Get more money that way.

4. Fly on your computer a lot to reduce number of crashes and save money on buying parts.

5. Keep the bird stock, most stock parts will do the work (except a few Century parts ). Blings cost a lot and sometimes won't give you better performance. They could add weight too.

6. Make blings DIY style. I made a few in the past, will take you a while to look through my 1000 posts, but they are there

3D Pro? I have only "1D" under my belt, what am I going to do with "3D"?

#7: Don't let Russ fly your HB in the parking lot while you're waiting for the ferry over to Victoria

I got 2 more good ones.

#8 Be a good 3D pilot so people will sponsor you goodies to fly.

#9 Be a good buddy to a sponsored 3D Pilot so you can get the hand me downs.

#10 Be a good video photographer and shoot new products and 3D tricks in action and get goodies in exchange.

3D Pro? I have only "1D" under my belt, what am I going to do with "3D"?

I refer to those as the "river theory". Basically it goes something like "if you stand by the side of the river long enough, eventually you'll get wet".
