I have an EVO 90 with the 8:45 gear ratio. I'm running an OS 91 Cspec. What would the advantages be to switching it over to the 7:91 gear ratio. Seem's everyone has said that it'll allow for a higher headspeed which is better for this engine. Is that that the case? Are the part numbers 0414-374 and 0404-707?

I can't help you on the part number sright now as I am at work, but, yes the engine likes turning a bit higher speed. The 7.92 ratio will allow you to turn up the headspeed around 1930 or thereabouts putting the engine in it's power band. I switched mine to 7.92 with the OS PS and love it. Flew fine on 8.45 but flys better IMO on the 7.92.
