I see the new Raptor Titanium 50 making changes to try and be more like the EVO. They have changed the gear ratio to 8.7 and lenghted the boom. The rest of the changes are nothing that will help the flying quality. Now if they would just change the head and flybar design it might fly decent. They are long overdue for a big change, everybody at our field has sold their raptors and bought EVO's,only one person still has a raptor he flys.

Ever see one of the Tiger 50's? They're incorporating designs taken from the Raptor and the EVO.

Impersonation is the highest form of flattery.

Douglas, this is one step away from a thread like the hundreds of stupid Tiger advertising threads.

A very small step away..Original post has some truth to it.I think the long boom will help, but otherwise not too much to cheer about. So what?

WHO CARES!! If you're so content with your Evo why does it matter what Thunder Tiger does with their machines? Looks like someone feels threatened....

I think it's always good to keep an eye on the other competitors in the arena. If you don't then you will always think that you have the best machine even after a better one is released by someone else.

I enjoy the discussion and comparrison with other machines as long as it's done objectively.

well put cranium. Its good to keep up with whats new and improved products. Its also wise to be able to tell if these improvements benefit the machines flight performance or not, alot of times its just a waste of time and money if it doesnt contribute to the flight characteristics of the machine.

One way to become known as a troll is to regularly post short comment replies (junk) that on average contains no relevant content. This site is about sharing your hobby experiences.

where is your relevant content to the post and why do you think you have the right to label someone as a troll?

first - welcome to America.just what the heck is that supposed to mean? I was born here how about you? you must be the kind of person that surronds himself with less knowledgeable people to make yourself look good.

Amen man, some guys have a huge issue allowing another heli to exist, or the sheer idea that another pilot may enjoy that heli as much as they do theirs :

arent you the guy that is always in the Hirobo thread telling everyone to get a Raptor?

He trolled a post of mine yesterday where my post commented on how great it was to fly again and he found a way to attack the raptor in that thread. Mark erased his post and my reply in that thread as they were both irrelevant to the thread in any way.

And what did you do today?

are you trying to feel or act superior?
