I have never seen diff colored stops for our size skids, I just use fuel tubing... not as clean and rounded at the edges, but still looks OK...

But Honey, I can't live with just stock.....

I use automotive fuel tubing or automotive vacuum hose. Partly because it's black, and partly because it's easy to find at most any gas station. The fewer colors on my Rex the better. Mine came with gold tail boom and skids. I sanded that off. I just got the Pro 325 blades, so I ordered an airbrush to paint them white. The poor little thing just has too much going on.

cd / dvd rom drives
Go to the dumpster and find some discarded CD or DVD rom drives. The motor block and or the internal disk tray is isolated on silicone rubber bushings. I've found many different colors and sizes. Typically there atleast three bushings in a drive and sometimes more. I've found, blue, yellow, orange and black. The nice thing about them are: free, and most are very soft. The skids don't vibrate against the pavement.
One other bonus is the rails for the head, they are typically 3mm chrome plated steel shafts, nice and smooth, alittle soft but can be made to fix some DIY motors.
