I bought a T-Rex two weeks ago from heli pros for $489.00 now they have them for $439.

Anyhow, anyone flying the V1 having weight problems? I have to have my battery, RX, and ESC up front in order for it not to be tail heavy.

I have:

hs56's on the head
9650 on the tail--401 gyro
TP 2100 battery.

Enrolled full time A&P school... No time for flying :-(

Its not the question. It just funny how companies screw you like that. I just brings back memories of a similar experience

Finless,

It is the SE. I have the carbon fins that came with it. I didn't put the decals on it to save weight (not really, I like the look of the carbon fins) I have a Hitec RX in it right now. I got a R146iP today, I may see what difference it makes to put it in the back.

On another note.. I flew it for the first time today. I'm so happy. It did great. Quite an upgrade from the Shogun V.1!!!

Quite a few of us are having weight issue with being back heavy, but I havent seen anyone with a fool proof way to fix it. I just trim mine out and hope for the best.. seriously, My components are just about as moved as possible, and it doesn't affect flying having the heavy tail trimmed out. I have been thinking of removing the boom supports and horizontal fin to save weight back there, but I am waiting to get my TX back. I even have my gyro mounted forward from its boom block mount to right under the main shaft...

BTW, most any reputable dealer will credit your account at least, because just say, I would like to return my heli and then buy it right back for the new price... it should be a standard of doing business... I would hope they wouldn't have a problem crediting you what they owe you...

But Honey, I can't live with just stock.....
