Hi,this has probably been asked before but will a JR NER-649S reciever take 6v? Hear some people say it will, others it won't. I know i will have to regulate to the gyro (601) but will the reciever take it ok? Also will the servo's run ok on it? (jr digitals, cant remember exactly which 1's though)
Thanks for your help guys!

sjm,

Yes, the reciever will handle 6v, but as you said, you'll have to regulate the gyro to 4.8 or 5.1. The other servos, you'll just have to check the specs. For example, if you go to Futaba's website, (or there is a great servo comparision spreadsheet here on RR) it will list the torque/speed for 4.8 and 6v. If a value is not listed for 6v, then that servo is not rated for 6v use. Each servo is different.
