New to helis, starting with blade cp...Had a problem getings blades to track perfect but seems something is giving me a vibration, just put in new blades, main shaft and drive gear, center hub,and spindel...
Seemed to take most the vibration out ,caint get blades perfect tracking but close, but just took it outside and did some hovering and now it has a circular wobble.....did I do something wrong or am I narrowing down the problem..only thing didnt replace is the rotor head. Any help for this new guy....thanks.

I don't know much about electric helis (small ones that it) but in a nitro I'd recommend making sure the blades are balanced; usually this will be the problem with tracking. Outside that check your setup on the rotor head (linkages, swashplate, etc.). Like I said I'm not famaliar with the smaller helicopters but I'd start with the blade balancing.

You shouldn't have to replace anything unless you crashed it. If that's the case then we have a whole different story.

He is right..make sure the blades are blanced. I had a CP once and the heli is just hard to hover. It seemed like every outside force has an effect on it. On some CP unless you start upgrading your parts will be difficult to hover.

I have no problem hovering, starting to go forward now and working on turns,, I fixed the wobble by greasing the rubber o-rings in the center hub that the spindle goes through....now I just have to try that balancing the blade thing like you say cause i cant get them to track perfect. The blade with the black strip on it seems to ride in the center of the 3 appeared blades I see when tracking!...its all new but Im havin fun trying to set this little beast up.

Reb32,
Tracking tip:
Place the heli on a table and slip something heavy like a hammer through the landing gear or anchor it down in some way so it wont take off on you.
Take a two different color markers and color the outside edge of your blades example: 1 blade red/ the other blade black.
Carefully spool up the heli (being carfull) and when you see the blades are not tracking, take a piece of white paper and slide it in to allow the tips of the blades to scuff the paper (keeping the paper from moving up and down)
After a few seconds or so you should see which color mark on what blade is higher then the other.
Adjust accordingly with the link going to the blade grip.

It only takes two things to fly -- airspeed and money
