I thinking of converting a t-rex xl to a shorter version. Anyone try this setup? How does it fly?

I'd say like a V1 or V2 Trex. Twichy due to the use of shorter blades that you would have to run.

I got both, not worth changing it.

No reason for changing it. What did you find with the short version?

Just put a set 280 plastics on the XL. You'll be changing it back real quick. Twichy!

The shorter version actually flies pretty good, shorter blades meaning a higher head speed. Also if you do the shorter version stick some shogun paddles on it. The best thing about the shorter version T Rex is that you can stick on a JMD models Hughes 500.

If its not scale I ain't flying it, unless its a TREX
