well...
I can't remember exactly, but if you go to century's site and download the manual for the predator, you'll be able to see the differences in the assembly instructions.

Jim,

The Max comes with longer boom, main blades, and tail rotor blades. The Max uses 720 blades, and the SE 700.

Rodney,

The Predator 60/70 SE does come with the machined nylon main and crown gears and the constant tail drive. It is the Predator Sport that comes with the slipper clutch and one piece molded maingear.

But I think you are correct in that the Max comes with the more heavy duty spraque auto gear while the 60/70 comes with the standard common torrington type of auto bearing system.

I had a Webra 52 and I can't say I recommend it.

Webras are supposed to be no-nitro engines. They also require 20% oil. I used Coolpower 15% and although everything was setup fine (temperature wise) the engine cooked itself... BTW: the engine would NOT work on Morgan FAI no-nitro fuel. It was impossible to set the needles: that's why I went for 15% nitro at CHRC recommendations.

Hard to break-in and hard to set needles! Be prepared to walk around with a screw driver in your pocket so you can adjust the idle before every flight.

25 years of engine fiddling weren't enough to cope with this %^$#@@! As it stands, although I never let the engine run lean, there were all signs of abuse because of excess nitro and lack of oil.

The main needle even flew off in flight and the replacement needle CHRC sent me was wrong, which completely busted the spray bar (which I also had to replace at my expense).

But really disgusting was the amount of fuel that leaked from the front bearing. Be prepared to do a lot of cleaning on your heli!

A Webra con-rod-broken-while-inverted later, I'm happy to say I'm an owner of a Hyper, which completely overpowers my late and defunct only-good-for-6-gallons Webra.

To me Webras are for fiddlers, not pilots.

It's easy to find an excuse to do wrong. Hard is not to find an excuse to do right.

Aww, come on, Jack. If you don't like Webra's, just come out and say it...don't keep beating around the bush!
