Well my R50 has just had its first flight. After 5 tanks every thing was covered in oil including me. Was suprised how easy it was to hover. Thats all thank to all you guys on here, rays dvd set, and hours on XTR sim. Cant wait to get her out again and smell that burnt nitro. Thanks again.

Got all the the gear but no **** Idea, It's Stella time.

Yup, when you've got a nice 5MPH or more wind blowing directly in your face you'll get that smoke hitting you. Even more impressive is a nice cool evening when it is calm, you'll smoke out the whole field and leave a layer hanging in the air.

Got Money? Send it to me, I'm a Heli Addict.

Make sure you're not running the engine too rich. Check the engine manual for needle settings during break-in and after break-in.

Good luck and glad to hear you had great success!

Hehe,
Sadly i think you'll find hovering in the delightfully windy weather fun
But the good news is when summer hits it should calm down and boy it'll get even easier

Feels great doesn't it?!? I now have 17 flights behind me, I've started sneaking up on forward flight and I've had one auto. It just keeps getting better and better.

uh ohh....okay well i just picked up an Evo 50 with OS Hyper. What exactly do you mean being covered in oil? My car is a beautiful a4 quattro and I would feel horrible covering the leather in that stuff if I got residue all over me. Is it possible to get the 'less smoke' blends and still get the same performance? I was told to run 30% coolpower with my setup.

When the engine flames out in a 8-10' hover, you auto or crash! It sure wasn't planned!
