I have a couple of hobby stores in the area, but unfortunately none of them stock anything for the Trex. So mailorder it is...
It would be nice to have the stock a little closer so I don't have to wait on parts all the time. Now I am just stocking up on spares everytime I order.

Posted earlier that my trip was 50 miles- JUST found out they are closing down! That means a 90 mile drive each way now! Bummer... Guess it will be online shopping for the future.

No T-rex parts
No local places, but can get general stuff like receivers, servos, lipos, skids(adapted from the MX400 if desperate)and other general stuff. Try to buy whole kits and take/replace what I need as I hate to wait on parts to arrive. That way, I can fly and fly as I have every part on hand. hate to pay for Express Mail too.

a few miliseconds, called: The Internet

there isn't a Trex carrying store within a 40-mile radius of my house so much as I know... Though the most local of shops just started carrying the MX400 since it's easy to get through Great Planes.

About 10 min here. They keep a pretty good stock of parts & upgrades. Hardly have to wait for stuff to be ordered.

I have 2 to choose from - about 15 minutes each in good traffic (and very considerably more in bad traffic ). In opposite directions though so it takes a while if I have to go to both.

I also buy on the internet despite having 2 LHSs. I find I can get the right part more easily (I spend much longer double checking part numbers and looking at photos than you can in the stores). My other helis need to have parts bought online as the parts availability locally is not the same as it is for the T-Rex, so I also bundle parts for different projects into one order to save on shipping.

None in central Texas that I know of. If anyone knows of any good internet sources in Texas let me know. It would be nice to be able to get parts quicker.

Sam Verlander,

Debbies carries a lot of Trex stuff. They keep most of it in boxes behind the counter. They do have a problem with keeping it in stock though. I try to call before driving out there if I need parts. However, I am usually out there flying anyways.

That's a funny way to sell something. You would think they would put it on the wall with all the Raptor and shogun crap. At least put it in a glass showcase so you can see it. I don't know why they want to hide it.
I flew my Trex their once back before they got the first kit in stock.

My parts are about 50 feet from my desk. It's great I have nearly every part on the rack both stock and upgrade. Too bad none of you live in CT. My customers seldom wait for the brown truck for pretty much anything they fly. Sorry if this makes some people jealous

I'll admit I'm not a great pilot, but I can hover with the best of them.
