Holy crap, $2100 for a micro? My X-Spec doesn't even cost that much.

You have been taken. Just an fyi.

DO NOT waste your time on a flight stabilizer either. Take that money you waste on it and buy a Blade CX or a sim. You'll battle with it more than it's worth.

Just so ya know, I bought my first Raptor 50 with all digitals, JR g500t gyro, cf blades and Jr 8103 radio for.... drum roll.. $750! (thanks, eBay!) I haven't had $1300 in crashes in a year in and a half of flying it either (started out with it as basically the first heli)..

That plus the 40 some gallons of fuel STILL makes my buy a deal.. Quick! Cancel that buy. Save the money for that sex account!!!!

$2100 is a bit much for Trex. you could probably get one of these...

http://www.rcuniverse.com/market/item.cfm?itemId=166712 (HELI)

and maybe one of these

http://www.rcuniverse.com/market/item.cfm?itemId=166445 (Tx)

and have enough left over for everything else your gonna need to fly with.

Damn couldn't you almost buy 3 TRex's for 2100??? How many batteries are you buying? Hopefully more than one! How about a charger for your lipos? Kinda funny how you are gonna spend 2100 on bling...but then machine your own boom supports that only cost like ~$12...

I agree though...buy a sim rather than the co-pilot.

Remember when flying inverted that down is up and up is EXPENSIVE!

I was supprised by how much mine cost, about £750. Dunno what that is in US money. I then proceeded to crash it because the receiver stopped listening. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. Bugger.

Micros are hard to learn on. I have a completely blinged out Hornet X3D that still doesn't work as expected. I got carried away since I already had an evo 50 and a Freya 90 so I thought it can't be that difficult... yeah right...

If you can afford it, by all means get it but a 30 or 50 sized nitro would be better for learning.

A Trex seems to be a better bird than the Hornet though. At least in terms of stability.

my two cents

Tony
