Hi, What sort of temp should a OS 90 C-Spec PS be running at? On my OS 50 I judge it by feeling the temp of the back plate? The pump is installed on this engine. Any ideas of the temp?
Cheers
Matt

I would say around 90-95C.

The word is 230 - 250 degrees however I am unsure where this fugure originates from. Also keep in mind what ever way you use to measure the temperature use the same way for consistancy that also goes for whree you put the temp probe at , top of plug, exhaust flange head etc...

Hey Matt,

What type of fuel are you running?

If you are running say a 30% fuel Like Magnum 30% which is what i use then if you feel the backplate of the engine on the housing that secures the pump then it should just be warm to the touch, if it's hot then it's too lean or theres something wrong somewhere.

If it's leaning out then you may require the return needle assembly for the return valve, works wonders with that engine.

Cheers!

I'd say 'room temp' so you can remove the POS pump and replace it
w/ an OMI/Cline carb setup

remember, PS stands for 'piece of sh]te'
