Hi

Im struggling to get the 120 CCPM setup on my Predator with a Futaba FF9 transmitter. I've got the pitch servo reversed and in the 'Swash AFR' settings I've got elevator and pitch set to -50%. All seems fine until I adjust the pitch end points settings, the swash plate then starts tilting.
What am I doing wrong ?

Thanks

Mark

Probably trying to use the "pitch" channel EPAs to set the pitch range. The basic order of operations for an eCCPM setup are:

1) Put all the AFRs/EPAs for the aileron, elevator, and pitch channels to 100%
2) Plug the servos into the correct channels,
3) Get them all moving the correct direction for collective
-- First get them all moving the same way with collective inputs
-- If the swash goes down when it should go up, change the sign of the pitch value on the Swash AFR screen
4) Test the aileron and elevator directions. If either or both are backwards, change the sign of the respective setting on the Swash AFR screen
5) At 50% on the pitch curve make sure the swash plate is level, mixing and washout arms are level and blades are at zero pitch,
6) Go to max positive collective and adjust the pitch percentage value in the Swash AFR menu for the max reading on the blades you want
7) Check the max negative collective. If everything is symmetrical, the max neg should be the same as the max positive
8) Check for level swash at max and min collective. This is where you use the AFRs/EPAs to make the swash level if necessary.
9) Measure your direct cyclic input and adjust the respective percenctage settings on the Swash AFR screen for what you want

Hope that helps.

Futaba FF9 setup for Predator ?
John

You were spot on, I was using the end points to adujst the pitch rather than the Swash AFR settings.
I'll sleep better for that !!!

Nice one
