I am thinking of using li-po for my radio, I can get a medusa research BEC rated at 3.5 amps and up to 45 volts, and a 2cell li-po for pretty cheap. Will this work for my raptor 90 with 5 digital servos?

anyone else using this set up?

3.5 amps maybe on the low side.

Duralite regs are rated at 7.5 amps, maybe a good guide to go on ?

I know of a few people running 3S LiPo and the UBEC on 90-size full digital helis flying hard 3D with no problems. I'm running the Medusa 3.5A BEC in my e-Avant on 10S with no problems.

You'll want to go with a 3S LiPo to start getting the benefits of a switching regulator.
