With the lipo do you have to change over to the 8 tooth gear?? I tried flying without and it seems like the gyro is all mest up and it gives extreme tail rotor inputs and it seems like the heli is vibrating when it gets to a certain speed. The blades are balanced so i know they are not the problem. Any one know???

You will definitely need to adjust your gain and proportional when you switch to a lipo. I know they recommend the smaller pinion but I do fly one of my blades with the stock motor as I get a little more head speed with my Hitec Eclipse 7. So far I have had no problem with probably 30 or 40 flights on it.

The vibration could be a few things.. even though your blades are balanced how are they tracking?

I do believe a three cell lipo may burn up the 4in1, the stock motor/gear will draw to much current unless you can adjust headspeed via the TX (stock TX has no adjustment)

The vibration is probibly unrelated, its got more headspeed and bringing out a problem with spindle/head/blades

When I switched my Blade CP to a 3c 1320 lipo, I didn't change anything except that I installed the aerobatic enhancement kit. I was getting 20 minute hovering flights.

Thats what I ended up doing. I picked one up off of ebay for 20.99 including shipping. Is that a good deal for the AEK kit
