I've got an Intellipeak ICE Charger and want to load test one of my batteries. I'm trying to figure out what type of current a stock CP pulls out of the battery during hovering / lift off?

I had a 4-in-1 go kind of crazy, and I've gotten it to arm again, but then it shut off 1 minute into a flight (for a second time). I have two batteries and want to make sure one of them isn't bad.

I know the second time it happened I was on battery #2. I just want to put a load on it and make sure there aren't any voltage spikes.

Thanks

Dallace

I'd go with 5A.

Thanks for the reply...

So with 5A pull "discharge" with my Intellipeak ICE charger/discharger. Each time I try this, I get what I believe is a voltage spike on the graph. It seems to range between 30sec - 2min into the discharge. The graph shows a slowly reducing voltage and then a SPIKE that goes right to the top of the graph. The charger doesn't seem to keep any type of "high" voltage during discharge so I can't tell what voltage it is.

Any idea what would cause this? I believe that this "spike" is what's causing my 4-in-1 to freak and shut down.

Anyone else agree/disagree?

Any input would be GREAT. What's the likelyhood of getting the battery replaced under "warranty" It's only a week old.

Thanks,

Dallace
