About to put the servos in an X-spec, JR DS8311s and wonder if most have been using the platic arms and wheels with the servos or have you been getting the anodized ones?

Plastic only, metal might transfer vibrations in to the servo and damage them after some time of use.

I'm using plastic wheels, which are the only way that I know of to get the holes slightly off-center due to the push-pull linkage setup.

I never have had any problems with vibs from metal servo arms doing damage to my servos (unless the occasional strip from a crash). It is much easier to set up with 12.5 spacing predrilled and tapped. the way i see it, if your setup is bad enough to have severe vib probs using metal servo arms should be the least of your worries.
