What other rc's have you guys tried? I have almost tried it all, and always seems to come back to helis. I've done cars/trucks,boats,submarines,planes,sailboats,rockets and helis. Probably forgot a few along the way. Nitro and electric, racing and recreational, on road and off road. Different scales and such. Still I comeback to helis and actually liked the sailboats a close second.

RC Sailboats are kinda cool - you can have a few things to control with regard to the sails.

Blimps.
I almost bought a blimp, but the big ones are really expensive, but found this smaller one...could be an alternative for indoors:

Almost had a r/c motorcycle once, but the deal fell through.

The thing I like about the sailboats is that you can be out on the water all day and it is kind of difficult with tacking and racing other boats to get to "clean "air. I had several sailboats, but my favorite was the Kyosho Seawind...good in winds up to 12 mph or gusts of more. They are suprisingly quick too. Something about sailing even with these little models. A good sailboat runs as much as some helis...in the thousands.
