I just swapped receivers and am about to run a full length antenna for the first time in 10 years. Is the plastic tube that comes with the EVO90 stiff enough that you can let it go straight back after it exits the gear supports without securing it to the boom support? I don't want it to end up in the rotor during high negative g maneuvers....

Thanks,
Rick

Rick,

It's not firm enough to withstand the forces of 3D flying. It will bounce around. I secured mine to the boom support.

I secure mine to the boom support as well. One zip tie does the trick.

A piece of tubing and 3-4 zip ties will hold it well onto the boomsupport.

Thanks for the replies. I guess I'll zip tie it for now.

I take the tube and flip the end back into the other holes on the other side of the landing gear so it makes a "U". small piece of fuel line keeps it in place.

Just remember -- if the world didn't suck, we would fall off.
