hey, i'd recomend 1,500 - 1,600 to be safe...
A pair of woodies cost like £15 but to lose one in flight could cost you your whole heli lol.

generally i'm very wary of woodies myself. Be sure to get that root glued and you should be fine though

Ps, do you have a tach?
If not you'r looking for a Wheeeehhhhhh kinda nose from spool up to hovering

Thanks,SkateFreak
Yes I have a tach and my woodies are well glued at the root.
I bought a tach just for this purpose because I felt my head speed was to high.
I tached at 1850...
Would 1750 at IDLE1 still be safe, but considered it maxed at that point?
I dont fly 3D...just your basic FFF and circuits.Nothing daring...........yet

Hey,
yeah, i think 1750 should be the furthest...
I'v seen some pictures of helis that lost blades...
Not only is a dangerous as you may get hit by it but it would appear its almost 100% certain to do major damage lol.

Myself, i just have JPcarbons, record is surviving 6 crashes so far
but i run a low headspeed myself

-Jvr

Ps, as for my headspeed... its either what i guess must be 1,300 for FF and proberbly 1,800 for heavier

(thats when i have the Tj running lol... always swaping it in and out :rolleyes
