In the State of The Union Speech, George Bush said he had a "plan for victory" and "we are winning", lets look at the facts.

- Every month 71 US Soldiers die in Iraq
- To date 2,260 US Soldiers have died in Iraq
- 16,440 US Casualties
- In 2005 Deaths of US Soldiers are up 25% from 2004
- The Terrorists are becoming more sophisticated and adapting cells phones to detonate their bombs.
- IEDs are becoming more powerful, better concealed, and harder to detect
- In 2005 the number of IEDs used against US Troops and Iraqi Civilians doubled
- In 2005 Terrorists killed over 10,000 Iraqis, a 100% increase over 2004
- The recent elections firmly placed control of the Iraq Government in the hands of Shi'ite Muslims who are aligned with Iran
- The Iranian Government is aiding the Terrorists by helping them develop new weapons that are designed in Iran and shipped to Iraq
- Terrorist Mastermind Abu Musab al-Zarqawi even though the subject of a massive manhunt for over a year,, is still free,, and planning more bombings, kidnappings, and assassinations
- To date the Iraq War has cost US Taxpayers $239,950,688,827
- The GAO projects the war in Iraq will eventually cost US Tax Payers over 1 Trillion ($1,000,000,000,000) Dollars

All true Bush Believers get your family together every day and repeat 100 times:
Bush has a plan for victory in Iraq,, we are wining!!

George Bush, a man with a PLAN,,,,,,, Oh Yeah

Band of Brothers

It is a war. Most choices in war are between the sh!t option and the even sh!tter option. It was never going to be a walk in the park.

Should we have left Iraq alone? No
Should we leave Iraq now? No
Should we expand into Iran? Yes

War is never clean... there will always be hurt, pain and the liberals. Our Administration and Our troops are doing their best in this situation.
I hope our administration sees fit to move into Iran in the near future because we will have to take care of that problem now or face the consequences later.

NO F-ING DOUBT!!!! I grow so tired of people continually harping on the war's causes instead of working to get it over!! If all the Democrat senators really cared about the troops like they say they do, they would be working to get them home instead of working to get more votes next election (by smearing the Republican party as much as possible)

I am still waiting for one of these IDIOTS to put their money where their mouth is and present a concise plan of action and I want Bush to do the same, not being on either side here. The troops are there, the war is happening already, and while most of us dont like the fact we are there, we all agree that we cant just pack our bags and leave today - yet all these IDIOTS do is complain and cry about the cause of the war.

I want them to get their eyes out from the back of their heads and to start looking forward for a little while. Show America a PLAN instead of whining about it still, freaking babies!!!

I will gladly vote for a Democrat president, if they can show me that they are a person of action and decision instead of these games.

Lets get our troops home, but lets also get something done over there 2000 plus troops gave their lives so far - but if we pull out now, it was all in vain. I am the first to admit I dont know what the plan should be - and therefore I will be the last to attack the current administration for not doing it yet. When the Dems have an actual working plan, then they can start the mud-slinging again, until then they are IDIOTS.

There will be plenty of time to attack Bush and question the war AFTER it is done and the troops are home, until then our PRIMARY goal should be to get done and home.

Rant mode off

His plan is the democratic party plan I'm sure: run away, quit, give up, apologize, give a bunch of money to our enemies, expect them to love us then.

Ever wonder why the dems cannot win elections? Two words, NO PLAN, or more precicely, they do have a plan, but if they tell the public, they will lose even worse. F-Bush is NOT a plan, and that message was soundly defeated in the last election of Bush (which some fools actually believe was somehow rigged or dishonest).

And Dean has nearly bankrupted the party now. So going into mid term elections they act like they just might take the congress back, but I have a feeling they will at best make a zero net gain. And Cindy Sheehan wants to run for Feinstein's seat, what a JOKE.

Everybody knows the score, no amount of shouting, sign waving, or insult throwing will change it.

To the democrats, the majority of americans are not in the "mainstream".

Their message is rejected, so they shout the same message louder and louder. To the majority of us, we just see a bunch of screaming malcontents unqualified for leadership.

keepin' it real

Concerning the exit strategy in Iraq. Do you think that it is possible that the Bush Administration has a plan to get out of Iraq but is not announcing it to the world? If he were to say "All troops will be out of Iraq by October 1" wouldn't it seem logical that the insurgents will conduct a huge operation once we left. It may be similar to what happened in Somalia after the Marines withdrew, Aidid's forces conducted a successful operation against the UN forces still stationed there.

Another point, just because the new Iraqi govenment is part of the same religious sect as Iran does not mean that they will "align" with Iran. Is Spain aligned with Cuba, even though they are both over 70% Roman Catholic? I think not.

I just feel bad for all those troops. But it had to be done. I think there will be something with Iran too. Personally I think it's a more serious threat than Iraq. I think this time the EU will join in too. I'm not a strategist but more air strike is the way to do it. As long as there are troops in the country, they'll keep getting injured.

This drum has never beat before. This is one of the many reasons a Dem will not be elected to an upper office position again. You guys just don't like Bush and can't for the life of you find a way to beat him. Furthermore we as reasonable human biengs see this and laugh as we would when a little kid throws a fit..........

This Liberal Redoric and hate type post is an example of a true Troll..........

And just like the guys you apparently support. You can only attack and criticize instead of doing something

The world is not black and white, that is the point. THese idiots in government are all spending time saying "Bush bad, we good" like some kind of Frankenstiein instead of offering a decent idea or SOLUTION.

Why dont you give us your plan, instead of playing politics

Sorry to dissapoint you as you try to paint me in a corner but I have no faith in the loser democratic party either. Both parties are poison running through the veins of freedom and what this country is really about in my opinion.

From a person that believes most of the stuff we hear and read on radio, tv, newspaper etc... is propaganda, my solution is for people to start thinking for themselves and give up on lame a$$ party affiliations. Most of the people that serve in government do it for the perks, not for the people.

And, you see we agree on that, but your previous comment painted yourself into that corner - I did not have to do any brushing Both parties are playing games, and that is why we are at where we are. The Dems have the CLEAR advantage at this point to make a change - yet choose to stay in the mud, slinging with the best of them. Enough people are fed up with Bush that if the Dems even showed an iota of intelligence or logic, they would gain all the ground they desire.

Politics are stupid in general, and unfortunately so are the politicians

See that's the problem. The perception is that if you're anti one party, you're automatically for the other.

And it's more then game playing... It's a flat out set up.

Politics is simply the art of letting someone have your way.

Why shouldn't it? Don't we have better intelligence networks, bigger tanks, aircraft, surveillance techniques, heck, the food infrastructure is much better, serving ice-cream to soldiers and contractors.

What gets me is why aren't we using this to just smash them with what we have. Is this war expected to be politically correct?

There is the solution to end the war in Iraq........

Vote for who you will. I am not the one crying about how the government is operating though, pretty grown up for a first grader huh.
Get louder, keep expressing your anger about this administration. The Dems I am affraid have never been played so well in the history of the country. It's amusing as can be watching these dems destroy themselves...........

Most Americans will not admit it, but we are an Imperialistic nation, call it what you want. Imperialism did not work for the Romans or the Japs, and it will not work for us either. The people of the middle east have been fighting for thousands of years, and after the US has come and gone they will still be fighting. You have to look at this another way. Do you really think that every single Iraqi that is fighting back is Al Qaeda? I dont think so. A good portion of the folks fighting us are regular Iraqi people who dont think we should be there, and have zero ties with Al Qaeda. Ever see the movie Red Dawn? We didnt want to be taken over by the Russians, and the Iraqis do not want to be taken over by us. Think of it this way as well, if half of the Iraqis were happy we were there, the other half is not, does that make them terrorists? I am about as american as they come, but have open vision as well. Those people in the US that fought the British a long time ago for independance could very easily have been called terrorists, and not patriots. We need to stop doing what is in Halliburton's best interest lol. Right now its a no win situation for everyone in Iraq, especially the soldiers. I hate seeing people criticise the US Military for whats going on in Iraq. Support the troops, as they dont have a say in the matter why they should be there or not.
