What settings are people using for the lipo cutoff. I'm not sure if I should be using the 'auto cutoff' or a custom setting. I have a CC Phoenix-25.

I use a CC35 and set it to custom at first but started noticing my Batt losing runtime and performance. Could be cuz I'm running them below the 9v cutoff for a 3cell pack. Now I use the auto cutoff setup on my CC35 and just have my timer setup on my TX so I know when to start to bring the heli down. In the past the auto cutoff was to sudden in th CC but with the latest update it got better and can bring down the heli without anyproblems.

Lipo's will last longer if you don't thrash them flat - forget the fancy cut offs and warnings - carefully time your flight until performance drops (do it at the hover close to you so that if it cuts it's not "toast" and then fly 2/3rds that time - ie if you get twelve mins then fly just the 8 - much kinder and you batteries will live on!

two pumps and a squirt
