I am running a CC 25 ESC on my Rex right now and it seems to be doing okay....

I just bought another used Rex and it has the newest version of the Align 35 ESC on it.

Wondering which one is better and why. Thanks, Ron

each one has its pluses and minuses... the CC is EASY to program with the USB deal...but the governer mode is iffy....

I used the CC 25 for a while....
never used the align, there are many posts regarding it though...

recently switched over to the Quark and couldn't be happier....

I'm old, bitter, and don't like people.... get over it

Yes allot of people do, its just a question that has been asked about a billion times is all. I wouldn't run anything less than a 35 amp, not without a seperate BEC anyways, several have encountered shutdowns on thermal overloads etc.. WIth crappy servos and low power demanding gyro etc you may be ok.... DO a search on ESC in the Motors and controller part of this website and you will get a billion results, cheers.

Oh and it may be argued but imho the Kontronik Jazz 40-6-18 is the best esc for a rex, it handles a 4S setup without a seperate BEC, has perfect governor, and is the easiest esc to setup in the world. Just imho of course,

...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...

I ran the CC Phx 25 for a while... it was fine for hovering and circuits... but once I started 3D..ing.. it kept cutting out.....

I guess what I am asking is giving the choice between these two controllers which one is better overall and which one is less likely to give me problems? I am sorry if alot of people ask the same dumb questions!
