Hello guys,

I have a jr9303 tx that i'm new to. What i'm trying to do is use the 3 pos aux switch to give me 3 different output values,

pos 0:-100
pos 1:0
pos 2:45

What i'm trying to do is setup my Robbe 3D stabilizer with these outputs. I'm using the flight modes for the gyro gain so the the gyro sens has to stay in aux2 (i think).
I have the R770 7chan receiver with the gear and aux slot empty, the gyro sens is in the aux2 slot. How can i setup the 3 pos aux 2 switch to the gear or aux 1 slot on the reciever??

The manual is not much help to me(unless i'm missing something)and I will not say what i think of the JR9303 manual because my post will get deleted. I also did a search on here and did not come up with anything.

Can you guys Please help me out on this.

Joe

Hi Joe, i will comment on the JR manual, for you.
It is similar to the Futaba Gyro manual's...
Rubbish
They are not written for Muppets that's for sure.
About time we had GY611 and 9x11 (For Dummies) ireckon
I assume your question is ref: to gyro gain if so try this::

Hope this helps Colin.........

Colsy,

Thanks for the link. I still don't understand it. I would like to keep the gyro sens with the flight mode switch (auto).

There has to be some way of doing this using the aux2 switch and not losing the gyro auto sens function.

I don't know how far you've got , but first , under [FUNC.LIST] , select GYRO SENS and set it to AUTO . The gyro plugs into Aux 2 .

From there is is fairly easy , with or without the manual . Ie you assign values to POS.0 , POS.1 and POS.2 , then assign the switch positions (Norm , ST-1 ,ST-2) to which ever one of the three values that you like .

At the end of the day , it gets dark .

Sorry joe, i got the wrong end of the stick.

I assume you are looking for three set positions on a aux servo..
I reckon this would work::
Assign Aux3 to the flight mode switch, plug your gyro sense in Aux 3 on reciever and use ATV,S for remote gain, assuming you have a gyro that has a seperate amp like 502/601/611, where you can set most parameters from the built in screen.

Assign aux2 to gyro sense, and use aux 2 reciever output for the servo, this will then give you three values on the gyro screen for aux 2.

Just a thought, never tried it mind??

Think I got the wrong end of the stick too .
If you are not using a governor , you could still enable the GOV function , which works in the same manner as the gyro function, on the flight mode switch , but uses the gear channel .

Does that help ?

Hi guys,

I'm using a 401 gyro, I do not have aux 3 on my receiver (R770 7 chan)

Nivlek, can i use the 3 pos switch on the gear or Aux1 channel that's all i have free in the receiver?

Colsy, Yes i'm looking for a 3 set postions on aux servo. I can not interfere with my flight modes.

What i need to do lift off, goto a hover set the 3 position switch to 0 with a output value -100 to calibrated the stabilizer, then switch it to position 1 with a value of "0" output so the stabilizer will be off so i have full control. If i get into trouble i can flip the swith to position 2 which will have a set value around 40 for a output. This way i can calibrate, turn off and turn on the stabilizer if i get into trouble.

Thanks for the help guys.

Yes , if you use the GOV function . When activated , the GOV function corresponds to the gear output on the receiver and is activated by the flight mode switch .

Or do you mean that you want to use the other three position switch , not the flight mode switch ?

Can i do this using the mixing on the gear or aux1 channel? I didn't think this was going to be so hard to do, Aux 2 switch to give me 3 different outputs on gear or aux1 channel.

I just looked at JR website just in case they had an update on the manual or more info on mixing and how to do it but i found nothing.

I think that you will probably need a nine channel receiver .
