As OICU812 knows, I contacted Futaba about a week or so ago to ask them about all of this. In particular running the 401/9650 in DS mode @ 6v. They said that it would work fine but that it would shorten the overall life of the servo, but would not give an estimate of course. I didn't expect them to. I also called Tony Stillman at Radio South (Futaba repair center), he said it would be fine as well.

FWIW I've been running this setup in one of my Rexes (Rex's, Rexi?) for about a week now and it is great, just need to do some tweaking I think.

401/9650
w/medusa 2A 6v BEC
DS mode
Hole 5mm out
Gain 45-50%

KO PROPO manufactures a very efficient product in the field of the car. I also am wishing this servo to answer the expectation.

By the way, I tested a new servo on the weekend. At present, the result is excellent.

It is HS56HB that operates by the system of HDS877.

Hi
I executed only a little test flight.
Because the Gyro sensitivity is too high(90-100%), it is necessary to adjust it.

Because the drift had not been felt by Tic-Tac and continuous Flip, I thought it was better than HDS877.

It should keep testing whether to equal S9650 a little more.

I did the test of Digital-HS56HB repeatedly.
It is more excellent than HDS877.
However, it did not reach the performance of S9650.

In Digital-HS56HB, it stops if proette is done by a straight line flight to the head wind.
However, S9650 has improved that.
Digital-HS56HB was not able to solve the common problem that the micro servo had.

I ended the test.
I decided to use S9650.

Sounds good. I was flying some more today and I'm really liking the holding power of the 9650 on 6v, so I'll be sticking with it.
Mesa have you tried them on cyclic?
That was my next question too.

The accuracy of Digital-HS56HB is high.
However, the rotation angle has lowered.
In NewFF-7&146ip, it moves right and left respectively with E-point140% only about 30-40 degree(each).
I think it is dissatisfied for CCPM.
In GY401, there was no problem. (The reason is not understood. )

However, they will become very expensive servos.

KO-PDS-3014 ICS is expected for CCPM.
Because it is possible to buy it by 25$ in Japan.

The Airtronics 94761z works excellent on the Rex.Just put one on mine a few weeks ago.Some of the more experienced pilots in our club run this servo.It holds well.
