I was wondering what kind of run times are people getting. If you post please comment on what type of motor, size of pinion, esc, throttle settings, and headspeed.

According to Troy Bishop owner of b-p-p.com the Hyperion 1800's are the same as Polyquest 1800XPs. I currently have 1 PQ 1800XP and I have a Hyperion on the way here from him now as a replacement to a PQ that puffed on it's first charge.

I will let you know what I get from the Hyperion, but if the PQ is identical as he says (same cells etc) then you can expect 8-9 mins hovering around or flying circuits with a JGF 450TH. This is without running the pack down too much. I usually get a glitch or two when it gets low right before I start losing throttle.

I'm not sure what my throttle settings are, as I'm a heli newb and I'm not 100% sure how to set up the transmitter yet.... but, I can tell you the headspeed is low, so the throttle is probably turned down some (making it LESS efficient) As I said, it's a JGF 450TH, running at normal advance and 9v cutoff on a CC Phoenix 35, and a with a 13 tooth align pinion.

Hope that helps, I'll update you on the Hyperion when I get it.

with Mega 1615/4, 15t pinion, Quark ESc, Hyperion CF blades...

I get 10 or more minutes with the 1800 Hyperion....
some hovering,,, some hard 3D.....

with the 2100's I have gone to 15 minutes, but that was pushing it

the most I ever put back in to the 1800 battery is 1600 mAh.

I usually set my timer for about 9 minutes... just so I can be a little easier on the battery

What is the voltage of your pack after a flight?

I rarely if ever let it go below 11v (that is what is read when I first put it on the charger.,....)

I hav been in the 10.7 - 10.5 range on reeeeally long flights... but I don't like going there...
