I was thinking about adding an HRPoly-X low-voltage warning device http://www.customidea.com/hrpolyx.php to my SE....is there any other good units out there?

Do a search on Rcgroups and you will find 3-4 others. Thantran's seems good too.
I use to of the HRpolys and I'm content, just waiting for a version that plugs to balance plug so I can monitor each cell in a pack....

Hey,

For basic LiPo voltage monitors these are good. I have two on friends Trex's & the 4 cell version on my Swift

See all on this page :

Not quite as hi-tech as the one in the link above but deos the job.

HR Poly-x
Hi

3 of my friends and i have 6 trex's and all have these on our heli's and they are great and reliable and accurate we killed lipos because it was telling us our align chargers were charging above 12.6v 4 Bleeps (our faulty align chargers were charging lipos to 12.6v - 13.0v) and we were ignoring it our fault.

customer service said also very helpful.

Yes they are expensive in comparison but together with my investment in my heli's it is worth the piece on mind.

This is now becoming an obsession!

Lots of good ones it looks like! I think I will go with the HRPoly-X. I think I may be a Canadian dealer for them.
