I had a rx lockout today, I think, but I'm not sure. While bench testing, I wanted to see what the voltage drops to when I bang the sticks around. I have one of those l.e.d. voltage monitors, and my gy611 shows voltage. When I bang the sticks, the voltage fluctuates as expected, but the gyro goes "flatline" that is it stops showing voltage momentarily, showing a line --------- where it usually displays voltage.

could this be a reson?

I have 3 ace digital ds1111 servos, a 9254 on the throttle, and a 9256 of course on the tail.

This caused a "hard" landing and dinged my radix blades which I now wont use, but I'm scared to try again.

My rx pack is a 4200mah nimh. I should be able to get more than one flight on this before charging again right?

Sounds to be like your pack either cant handle the spike in amps that your radio system is delivering and causing the pack to dip below 3.8V or whatever it is to cause the Gyro to turn off or give that flat ------ on the screen. Simply fix would be to try a different pack, preferably Nicad of high discharging capabilities or a Li Ion set up if you could and jam the sticks around real hard and see how the gyro holds up.

Hey,

You don't have any binding in the controls causing excess strain on the servo's, which inturn then pull more amps and dip the pack low?

Also, there isn't perhaps a dying servo that is shorting out the the flight pack as it moves through it's travel.
I wouldn't expect the display of the 611 to totally change, more like dim down as the voltage dropped.
