I have been waiting forever for this to come out and on the horizion website it still says mid-February. If you look here you see the Bell Mixer Upgrade Kit: BCP 24.99 OUT OF STOCK. Below it looks as if it is the Bell Mixer Main Blade Grip Set:BCP 9.99 IN STOCK with the necessary hardware and below that is the Bell Mixer Arm & Pushrod Set: BCP 4.99 IN STOCK. To me it looks like the grips and the pushrods and arms are the same thing as the Bell Mixer Upgrade Kit: BCP 24.99 OUT OF STOCK. If im right then you can buy the upgrade now and cheaper that what it would be for the "Upgrade Kit". If im right then you can get this stuff for only 14.98. Am i right??? I wanna buy this if i am

you would be surprised how easy the spindle bends. Mine is bent now and as straight as I can fix it and it does fly. Like I said if you tweak a blade chances are th'spindle took a hit too

And yes the bearings can be reused, unless you have the older version than you need two more to compleat the six total needed

looks to me like with the kit you get some bearings for the blade grips and a spindle shaft. I have absolutely no clue if the spindle shaft is the same length as the regular hiller mixer or not but I'd imagine if I were one to assume such things that it is the same length. Who knows.

at least they dont list a differant spindle # coming soon <g> lets hope its the same,, would sure create undo confusion on the parts rack

Hello everyone,

The Bell Mixer Upgrade Kits began shipping yesterday, however there was a very significant backorder log to fill. That said, the majority of backorders up until those placed just recently have been filled, and many shops will have the kits in stock later this week. More stock is also due to arrive in the next few weeks.

The spindle included with the upgrade kit is indeed the same as stock (These spindles are now available seperately as well). Also, the upgrade kit does include 6 ball bearings, head dampening shims and some additional hardware that you would not get when purchasing the 2 replacement parts sets, and many of the parts come pre-assembled right out of the package for quick and easy installation.

Good luck and we look forward to hearing flight reports from those who may be installing the upgrade kits soon

I just bought my elfite blade Bell/Hiller upgrade kit today from my local hobby store AKA Helihobby AKA Ehobbyhouse. They just got them shipped in and put them out to sell as I was picking up Esky parts to do the conversion. I'm glad I got the complete upgrade!
