And, me a 12 year recovering drunk....man, don't that suck buttermilk...however, mind you, I still have fun...being a DD and watching everyone do what "I used to." Figured when I went out "pub'ing" one night here in Maryland and woke up three days later in Ohio, that it was time to quit. Tried to drink the world dry, then found out that Jack and his brother Jim wouldn't allow it...so the rest is history...12 years of waking up in the morning and realising that was as good as I was going to feel all day long.

Thanks for your warm, caring and "loving" comments, lil' brother....hope you have to stay in "Wingates" for the rest of your natural life. BTW, do I have a phone call I need to make to somebody.....somebody called Jack...hmmmm....at my age, two things start to go....my memory....and.....and....your batteries...LOL.

And, it ain't all Brits here, either and, shipmate, I don't drink...I changed my poison of choice to sniffing turbine fumes and, as Ian has said....makes a dandy hand-warmer as well.

BTW, I am of third generation Scottish descent and my "better-half" is second generation Irish...what a combination!
