Why did the turbine for sell topic was closed.
It was nice to see guys from England, Australia, and USA, talking about their Turbine Helis.
For me that I am considering a Turbine, I wanted to read opinios about their machine and it was great to look some pictures.

Good question Qrrambero!!!
Hi Qrrambero good question i have read through discussions and I am puzzled!! also, some one might be kind enough to tell us why and then this topic might get closed as well who knows!! maybe its the heat these turbines give off that causes the problem

Well, I am extremely confused regarding the closure of the aforementioned post....must have been because I said f**k in one of the responses, while pulling Gary's leg. WTFO on this one (sniff's underarms)? Well, anyway, good to see our friends from the UK hooting and hollering about their heli's and flying and having a good time.

Hey Guys,

Yeah it confused me to as well and we were all talking so calmly and adult like.

I'm upset I didn't get a chance to agree with you on the "spoiling the turbine picture" topic

I have an un-spoilt one
I didn't even have to beg my other half to hold my chopper either

I just had to quickly put the camera down as it was getting heavy for her after all the pictures I took.

Ian,
Now, that's what I am talking about!!! Now, tell me lad, what size are those main rotor blades??? LMAO! Sweet looking aircraft as well....almost said "bird," however I have been educated in the ways of our UK best friends.

Oh, and I see my very favorite color in the booth to the left....Wren Green!

Lovely picture
Yes Doc, that is a Wren Booth, at JetPower in Germany, September 04. Ian's "better half" is a lovely girl and I very much enjoy her company - it's good to have another lady in the team. We have tremendous fun at the annual JetPower show, all the jet engine and kit manufacturers attend and all the "latest and greatest " jets and turbine helicopters are flown and shown.

Sara,
Sounds like our Toledo show...at which, I am very much looking forward to getting to meet Roger for the first time, and, hopefully, not too long afterward, getting to make a trip "across the pond" to meet and fly with the rest of our UK friends....not sure you all are ready to have the likes of the three of us (Greg, Gary and me) turned loose on an unsuspecting British populace...LOL.

You know me, I'll always ruin at least one picture in a run. My wife is almost to the point that she wants her own turbine. If only I can get her past her present crash trauma!!

Be careful about saying "only a plank," especially with the projects you and Greg have been working on...."only a plank" can get real expensive, however, please pass to Tina that I have probably come close to the national debt in crashes, so she is in good company. Also tell her, she's gotta' get back on the horse.

Hey Guys,

This thread is getting good now, we'll show'em you can never keep a good thread down.

Sara is indeed spot on, Jet Power 2004. I don't know why but I always take my camera to all heli events and 9 times out of 10 never take any pictures

Gary, you have got to get your other half back flying heli's again to get over the fear. Then when you come over here it will probably inspire my better half to have a go.
I've tried everything to tempt her a bit more, I even fly a pink Hummingbird and get constant jibes over the colour choice. But I tell you what, atleast I can tell which one's mine a sports hall full of little buzzing bee's.
My latest acquisition, the Swift I said was Kim's present so I didn't get a slap for spending more money Didn't work though!

We get the two of them together I am sure they will come up with a stratagie to out fly the both of us. We can just let them be and see what happens. It would be great to get together and toss the turbines around hopefuly soon.

Ian, and the rest of our UK friends,
Anxiously awaiting the time when we can ALL get together, do some flying and swap some lies. Lots and lots of outstanding friends made right here, but doesn't take the place of, as Nike say, "just doing it...."
