Hi,

I've got a couple but they're in need of restoration. What do you need to know? If it's flying quality, sorry, no stick time but I'm sure that head will fly very predictably and smooth.

Hi heli_headcase,
I can assure you I'm well aware of the flight quality of this machine/head. I've owned and flown mine since the late 80's, and yes it is very predictable and smooth.
I'm trying to find out if anyone has used a different head damper on their's. The stock dampers on my machine need to be replaced. The original damper part no. is 0402-006 which is still available and apparantely is also used on the Shuttle series. However, I was looking for something more rigid than the stock one. Perhaps one of the aftermarket dampers for the Shuttle or the Evo can be used.
I posted this in the Hirobo section, but I don't think many of these helis are still very active now. So I tried here.

The lot I got is not a lot, but I thank God a lot for the lot I got!

Hi Mike,

OK, your question was so general I didn't know where to start You'll have to let someone else try to answer your concern as I just don't know. Good luck,

Steve

Hi chri24g,
If you look in my gallery you'll see a couple photos of my Eagle.
They're not very good, because I used a DV Camcorder to take them.
I'm going to get a small digital camera so I can get better photos.
This Eagle actually started out as a Condor and I slowly converted it to the Eagle. I originally purchased it from a company called Tech-Specialties in the late 80's.
This is the most stable heli I've ever owned.
I've still got quite a lot of my Condor parts and am hoping to aquire some more so I can reassemble her.

The lot I got is not a lot, but I thank God a lot for the lot I got!

The eagle looks really nice. Here is my hybrid Condor. I did 3 tanks today, trimming it out after a crash repair. I readjusted the mixing arm and seesaw linkages and it actually flew even better :^)

Of course, I almost wadded it up into a eucalyptus tree when I had a weird glitch. The tail wasn't responding and it was piro'ing straight for a grove of trees and when it finally did it was pointed straight toward the ground! Don't know how I gathered it up, but I managed to get it back down. My daughter said "hey that was cool, do it again." LOL
