I found this image is gkoutsis's gallery. Can someone tell me where I can buy the level that is hanging on the flybar control arms (far right side of the picture). I asked gkoutsis but he got it at a LHS and didn't know who makes it or what it's called.

Rick's and HeliProz both have a level kit but it doesn't have hooks on it. Thanks.

Try a Home Depot or builder supply. That type of level is primarily used by masons, it is hung from a string to keep the brick courses level.

Just remember -- if the world didn't suck, we would fall off.

Something quite similar is sold at hardware stores and is called a "line level" which is made to clip onto a string being used as a guide for construction.

I went to Lowe's but the hooks on thier string level were very small. So small they wouldn't even hang on the flybar.
Thnaks.

Hmm, I got mine at Lowe's and it clips on even 4 mm flybars. I realize there are different ones. Mine is yellow and maybe 2" long. I seem to remember needing to shave off two "tabs" in order to fit on a flaybar. The tabs were under the hooks to keep it on a string.

OK.. Thanks. I'll check there again. At the time that I went they only had one type AND I have no LHS that deals with helicopters.

I have a Robart pitch gauge and love it!!! Although the ends of my bubble look a bit different and are metal, it can be used as the photo illistrates. A local hobby store recently went out of business and had another on the shelf, really wish I wouldve picked it up as a spare...no other I've seen comes close for $35...

Take heed in thy rotor speed, Lest the Earth reach up and smacketh thee!!
