Can somebody please give me an indication on how to properly set up the 401 with the 14MZ?
I made a search in RR, but I was not able to find a real specific answer.
Thanks a lot
Luigi

Reasonably straight forward on the gyro screen, and there are some zip files of early Trex 14Mz setups in my gallery (14mz_backup...).

Let me know which Trex you have (V2/XL/HDE/CDE/SE) and I'll upload the nearest model setup file I have to give you an example to work from.

Thanks cdyckes.
My Trex is an XL upgraded with CCPM carbon frames.
Gyro 401, 3 Futaba 3103, 3107 rudder servo, Thunder Power 2100 Lipo.
The rest is standard.
Best regards
Luigi

OK,

The nearest of mine is a V2 converted to eCCPM using the Align refitting kit. This probably won't be an exact match, but should give you an idea. I use the 'new' channel settings with throttle on CH1, rudder on CH2, Gyro on CH3, aileron on CH4, elevator on CH5 and pitch on CH6.

The file name is T-Rex_V2__mega_eCCPM.zip in my gallery.

Hope this helps

Thanks Colin
I'll give it a check.
I'll have to change the controls to the "old" way, since I'd like to keep compatability with my old FC-28.
DO you think that would change the settings? Or will it be better to start with your setup and then change it after I understood the basics?

Just go in and change the channel assigments. Shouldn't affect the rest of the setup at all. You may need to change channel reversal on some channels to use my setup with your frame.
