Can anyone tell me how much does the plastic tailboom clamp weigh? I weight the SE metal one and it is 13grams. I am willing to part with the pretty blue clamp if I can save maybe 8 grams on it. Please dont give me the its just a few grams. My SE is overweight at 810 grams ready to fly.

Heres my setup

-Jazz
-Neu 1107/2.5y
-4s 2100 prolites
-3 hs56
-9650 digital
-Gy401
-PCM Futaba R146iP

Things I havent done yet to save weight:

- cut the canopy window out.
-shorten wires
-tailboom clamp

Im not willing to go very far with the weight saving thing though and theres not much I can do with the electronics.

7.5 grams - slight gain could be made there!

Thanks again for weighing it. I was hoping it would be a little lighter than that. Im not sure if I will part with my the aluminum one anymore.

Metal one anyday, plastic one will break soon anyhooo, metal one will last life of the heli. Worth the wieght if you ask me.
