Ok, I want to use a seperate battery to just power the servos on my AP mount, I tried it and it didn't work, I pulled out the black and red wire and left the white one in, I tried connecting those wires directly to a battery, and the signal comming directly from the main RX, every time I connected the power to the servos, they would move, but then I would have no control over them??? What the hell, why wont it work.

You need to fit both negative poles from the two batteries together.

Why do you have to do this, for the heli I have a BEC that runs off the main motor battery, so I would have to connect the neg wire off that to the neg wire on the other battery? Why?

Because the signal wire from your receiver is referenced to the ground from your BEC. Tieing both grounds together creates a common reference point.

It's like trying to jump start your car. If you only connect the + lead from one car to another, you get nothing.
